Trick Williams was recently on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast where he showed his gratitude towards Shawn Michaels. Michaels provided Williams a chance to compete solo in NXT.
Williams also voiced his appreciation for his collaboration with Carmelo Hayes while expressing his ambition to achieve greater successes independently. As the WWE NXT World Champion, Williams said, “When it comes to opportunities, shoutout to Shawn Michaels. We put something on TV that was the real deal. I went to Shawn Michaels’ office and asked him for an opportunity to show me what I could do. …He gave me an opportunity, and all I can say is I’m fortunate and thankful for Shawn Michaels…My biggest fear is not being able to reach my potential.”
Recently Shawn Michaels, the WWE NXT Executive Producer, appeared on “The Arash Markazie Show,” where he spoke about the operational parallels and disparities between WWE and UFC. Michaels and his NXT crew will be present at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for NXT Battleground 2024.
Speaking about the upcoming event, the celebrated Heartbreak Kid said, “I know that we are very excited about going out there, and that is one of the big ‘to do’ lists, to physically get to see it.
