During a recent conversation with “The Schmo”, professional wrestler Shawn Michaels opened up about the bouts he believes didn’t gather enough attention from viewers. In particular, he mentioned his wrestling matches with the likes of Mankind and Jeff Jarrett didn’t get the recognition they deserved.

The matches Michaels referred to happened during the In Your House series, with the match against Mankind taking place at Mind Games in 1996 and the bout with Jarrett happening during In Your House 2 in 1995.

Michaels reflected, “I would revisit two matches that I hold in high esteem. The first being with Mankind. Mick and I delivered an exceptional match at Mind Games. It was a singular event, but I always believed that Mick and I could have explored a much larger narrative. We had the potential to create some remarkable things. The second match was against Jeff Jarrett, for the Intercontinental Title. Jeff and I shared an excellent rapport. These are two matches that get acknowledgment, but aren’t often discussed from a larger storytelling perspective. These are two experiences I’m proud of that aren’t commended enough.”
