Shane McMahon has undergone surgery after suffering a torn quad during his WWE return at WrestleMania 39.
On the event’s second night, Shane returned to WWE in his first appearance for the promotion since the 2022 Royal Rumble event.
Moments into his impromptu match with The Miz, Shane suffered a torn quad injury and was replaced in the bout by Snoop Dogg.
PW Insider reports that Shane was flown to Birmingham, Alabama after the event, and has undergone surgery at the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center.
The Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center has played host to several injured WWE Superstars over the years, including Shane’s brother-in-law Triple H in 2001 and 2007.
Complete recovery from a torn quad takes at least four months, and most repairs are almost completely healed within six months.
