During the latest episode of WWE NXT, Oba Femi exacted revenge on Je’Von Evans by interfering in his match against Lexis King targeted for the Heritage Cup Championship.
Throughout the match, Femi initiated a powerbomb on Evans outside of the ring, unnoticed by the referee, in response to Evans’ cutter attack on him the prior week. Consequently, King emerged victorious.
Post-match, a brawl broke out between Femi and Evans within the ring, triggering Trick Williams to join in and assault Evans with a Trick Shot. Officials hastily segregate them as Darkstate watched the uproar unfold from the stands.
Williams later defended his attack on Evans, claiming it was unintentional and his target was Femi, adding that he will be ready to face Femi in the next episode. He was also dismissive about the situation with Darkstate.
Internationally renowned rapper, Sexyy Red, is expressing interest in accompanying Jey Uso to WrestleMania 41. On the “Raw Recap” podcast, Jey conveyed his desire for Red to join him, a nod to her past WWE NXT appearances.
In response to this, Sexyy Red tweeted she will certainly be there if she receives an invitation.
Additionally in this episode of WWE NXT, famed wrestling duo, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) marked their presence. They extended some wisdom-filled words to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger about their shaky tag team partnership.
Despite the duo’s defeat in a match against Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont, Sabin and Shelley applauded their efforts, alluding to their own path in wrestling that wasn’t without difficulties either.
