The production company co-established by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia, otherwise known as Seven Bucks Productions, has recently initiated a first-look pact with the Walt Disney Company. This partnership aims at producing both theatre and online movies.

As revealed by entertainment news source, Variety, the collaboration encompasses far more than simply producing film content—it spreads across numerous divisions within Disney. This multi-year agreement provides Seven Bucks Productions with the benefit of working in close partnership with Disney on future endeavors.

Explicit emphasis is given on the continued successful partnerships formed from projects like “Jungle Cruise” and Disney+ series “Behind the Attraction”. Dwayne Johnson further solidifies this partnership as he is set to return as the voice of Maui in the sequel, “Moana 2”, set to release this November. The release follows the enormous triumph of the original movie introduced in 2016.
