WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins would love for the opportunity to work on-screen with his wife Becky Lynch again.
Lynch and Rollins teamed together in 2019 during their respective feuds with Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin, leading to a mixed-tag-team match at that year’s Extreme Rules event.
Speaking to “SHAK Wrestling” to promote SummerSlam, Rollins recalled working with The Man and would love for another chance. He said,
“We tried it four years ago. Our characters were in totally different places at the time. Our mindsets, just as human beings, were in totally different places. At the time, I was struggling. I didn’t know who I was on screen, off-screen. I was going through a lot of self-doubt and depression.
“So for me, I was just kind of letting it all fly hoping something would stick, hoping I can catch on to something and I thought it would be good for all people involved.”
At Summerslam, Seth Rollins will put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Finn Balor in a rematch from their Money in the Bank encounter.
