Seth Rollins Retains World Heavyweight Championship Against Finn Balor At SummerSlam
Seth Rollins bested Finn Balor yet again to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday night at SummerSlam 2023 in an incredible match. The final few minutes of the match saw Mr. Money in the Bank Damian Priest make his way to ringside, followed by NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
What followed was tons of shenanigans by The Judgement Day, backing Rollins into the wall. A final distraction by Damian Priest, however, saw Rollins capitalize with a Stomp on Priest’s MITB briefcase to get the win. Priest and Rollins stared down one another after the match.
