During WWE Money In the Bank 2023, Ricochet and Logan Paul brought the audience to a standstill as they both crashed through a table while performing a Spanish Fly.
In a conversation with Adrian Hernandez on the “Unlikely” show, Ricochet revisited the incident, saying,
“In wrestling, instinct plays a big role because things don’t always go according to plan, particularly when tables, ladders, and other elements are introduced. In these situations, it’s all about the fight or flight response. You only have a split second to decide what to do. My focus is to deliver an engaging performance for the crowd, while managing Logan Paul at the same time. I kept thinking ‘We’re doing this, no matter what. If you slip, or I slip, it doesn’t change anything. We’re doing this.’
He further added, “After our act, we engaged in a minor scuffle, which was captured on camera. Again, it’s all about the fight or flight response. I’m the one falling back, so I had to take control of the situation.”
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins is enthusiastically preparing for his upcoming face-off against CM Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. He categorizes the trio as “combustible elements,” emphasizing the escalating tension leading up to the event.
Sharing his perspective on “The Rich Eisen Show,” he said,
“These are three iconic figures who have dominated the last decade or two of wrestling. There are real tensions between Punk and me, and also between Punk and Roman. There’s professional respect between Roman and myself, but trust issues as well. We have a complicated past. This is a charged situation – a triple threat match with no rules. No disqualifications, no count-outs, just an open battle.”
He added, “I’m very much looking forward to it. Triple threat matches aren’t common at WrestleMania, it’s usually one on one. So, this situation is unique and complicated. There’s a lot of history involved, and equally, there are a lot of emotions brewing among the audience. We’re popular, but when we criticize each other, it challenges the audience’s preferences. This results in a complex emotional dynamic, which I think will be interesting to observe.”
