About CM Punk: “He was a person I admired. I genuinely believed that his passion for the industry was sincere. He wanted people to see him as a person who truly cares about the industry, and many people believed this. However, it’s not the reality. In truth, his interests are selfish; his only priority is himself. Everything else is just a show. He deceives people, cheats, and scams them, while pretending to be some kind of savior. But the reality is that he only cares about himself and how to fill his own wallet. Seeing him face to face is something I find difficult. I try as much as possible to avoid him. Yet here he is, once again invading my space.”
On how Drew McIntyre is exacerbating the situation with Punk: “I understand Drew’s resentment towards him, but continuously engaging with Punk only gives him what he desires. It’s like fueling the fire. People like this need to be ignored so they can fade away. But Drew continues to do the opposite, and now he’s put him in a position he didn’t want to see. It is the SummerSlam, one of our biggest events, and you’ve amplified Punk’s presence. You bear the blame. I don’t agree with Drew and his methods, but I can see why he feels the way he does. I’ve been in his shoes, feeling neglected and driven to do things I didn’t necessarily want to. But with Punk, I can’t understand his machinations. Drew, unfortunately, has painted himself into a corner.”
