Seth Rollins Debuts New Theme Song, Drew McIntyre Retains At Money In The Bank

At WWE Money In The Bank, Drew McIntyre defended the WWE Championship against Seth Rollins. The challenger hoped to unburden McIntyre while the champion sought to prove himself as the top dog on WWE RAW. Rollins debuted new music that was fitting for the Monday Night Messiah.

McIntyre took Rollins down with a shoulder block early on. The rivals felt each other out until McIntyre overpowered Rollins and sent him to the outside. McIntyre floored Rollins with a stiff chop and suplexed him. Rollins took control and dove onto McIntyre on the outside. The challenger took McIntyre down with a Slingblade. Rollins targeted McIntyre’s leg and grounded him. The Monday Night Messiah locked McIntyre into an STF and a Crossface but the champion reached the ropes. Rollins hit three flying knees to McIntyre’s face. McIntyre countered a dive into a suplex that sent Rollins crashing onto the broadcast table.

McIntyre regained control and suplexed Rollins. A big boot dropped Rollins and McIntyre hit a diving clothesline. McIntyre hit a Spinebuster for a two count. Rollins hit two stiff kicks to the head for a one count. A Frog Splash still resulted in an emphatic kickout. Rollins grabbed a steel chair, but he decided not to use it. McIntyre countered a Stomp into a Glasgow Kiss. Rollins hit a superplex and a Falcon Arrow for a two count.

McIntyre countered another Stomp and hit a Future Shock for a two count. McIntyre threw Rollins across the ring withh a suplex but Rollins hit a superkick and a Stomp for a near fall. McIntyre countered a Stomp into a Glasgow Kiss, but Rollins hit a superkick. Then McIntyre planted him with a Claymore Kick for the win. After the match, McIntyre offered Rollins a handshake, and the Monday Night Messiah accepted.
