Reports have emerged that Seth Rollins and Dakota Kai, two high-profile figures in professional wrestling, are currently nursing injuries. This information offers insight into the events that transpired during the WWE RAW episode on August 8.
The news came to light on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, where it was clarified that both Rollins and Kai are dealing with injury woes. Their absence from the recent show was reportedly due to planned attacks designed to give them time off the screen.
In the case of Kai, she was allegedly attacked backstage by Damage CTRL, leading to her match against Sonya Deville being taken over by IYO SKY.
Rollins, on the other hand, was reportedly assaulted by Bronson Reed following a segment with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Notably, Rollins did not participate in SummerSlam 2024.
While it has been reported that Rollins is not in any serious danger and is still capable of wrestling, it was hinted that he is “banged up”. The wrestling superstar, who is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, went through a period of absence earlier this year due to a knee injury.
Kai’s injury history is also nothing new, with a torn ACL causing her to take a break from wrestling for the majority of 2023. She only returned to the ring in March this year.
