Serena Deeb says she’ll be back in no time.

Deeb posted the following statement, revealing she had a scope done on her knee on Friday morning for an undisclosed injury:

Update on my knee…I had a scope done and it went really well. I’ll be back before you know it Thank you all for the support and concern.

Deeb’s last match was a first-round loss to Riho in the United States bracket of the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament. Little is known about what caused the injury besides Dave Meltzer previously reporting Deeb had been working on a bad knee. At the time, he didn’t offer any updates on the severity of her injury aside from noting that it limited what she could do in the ring.

Deeb is the current NWA Women’s Champion, but she is under contract to All Elite Wrestling. It’s unclear when she will return to AEW or if she will be featured on upcoming NWA shows. The National Wrestling Alliance just announced their return with “Back For The Attack” on March 21, and a new season of Powerrr on FITE.
