Serena Deeb says she recently came into contact with someone who had COVID-19 and she’s going into self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
Deeb, who recently confirmed signing with All Elite Wrestling after facing Thunder Rosa on Dynamite, was set to appear on the next episode of the Prime Time Live series co-promoted by NWA and Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. Deeb issued the following statement (via the National Wrestling Alliance) to announce that her self-quarantine stay will result in her missing her scheduled appearance on the September 29 episode of Prime Time Live. Deeb was originally scheduled to face Allysin Kay; Nicole Savoy will now face Kay on the broadcast.
“Earlier this week, I came into contact with an individual who later tested positive for COVID-19. I am taking extra precaution and will be self-quaranting for 10 days.
Due to this, I unfortunately have to postpone the match at Primetime Live next week with Allysin Kay. I offer my utmost apologies for this. This is a serious matter, and the health and safety of everyone involved always comes first.”

Allysin Kay is going to have a hell of a battle on her hands with Nicole Savoy at Prime Time Live on 9/29!
