Ever since SCU vowed to break up after their next loss, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian have been on a roll. That momentum continued at AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts, where the duo earned a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

On Wednesday night, SCU won a dynamic four-way match that included The Varsity Blonds, Jurassic Express and The Acclaimed. Throughout the entire match, all four teams enjoyed promising opportunities to win the bout, like a near fall that saw Brian Pillman Jr. roll up Kazarian toward the end of the match.

But SCU came into the match with a mission, and they wouldn’t let anything stop them. In the end Kazarian caught Pillman Jr. and Christopher Daniels leapt off the top rope to hit him with a BME/Piledriver combination. The double-team maneuver was more than enough to guarantee SCU’s victory.
