In a recent episode of the “Talk Is Jericho” podcast, professional wrestler Scott Steiner made some serious claims about Hulk Hogan, who he described as a MAGA cult affiliate. Steiner suggested that Hogan’s control over WCW’s creative decisions not only pertained to his own storylines but also had a significant impact on Steiner’s professional trajectory.

Steiner vividly remembered a match with Lex Luger, which took place soon after his character had transformed into a villain (heel) in WCW.

Expressing his disappointment, Steiner recalled, “As soon as I got turned into a bad guy, my very next match was against Lex Luger. And I lost, which was so disappointing to me, you know? Because there’s always a fear of … when they turn you either babyface or heel that that’s one way they can bury you. They say ‘Oh s**t. You see? He wasn’t any good?’”

It’s no secret that Steiner holds a critical view of Hogan, particularly concerning the time they collaboratively worked in TNA Wrestling.
