Scorpio Sky’s Injury Was A “Freak Accident”

AEW originally announced that  Scorpio Sky would be wrestling Kip Sabian on Friday’s episode of Rampage. However, that didn’t happen. 

Instead, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Sky was pulled from the bout due to injury, leading to Komander replacing him. 

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select was asked during a Q&A session how the injury happened, which was said to be a freak accident. 

He said nobody knows how long Sky will be out of action, but he was spotted on crutches at the show.
