After winning the AEW Face of the Revolution ladder match at All Elite Wrestling’s Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, Scorpio Sky earned a crack at Darby Allin’s TNT Championship. Sadly for him, Wednesday was not his night.
With the champion being in a brutal street fight just a few days ago, Sky found himself having plenty of success early on. The veteran was able to lock in submissions against Allin, but could never get it fully extended for a tap. Allin would change the momentum by hitting a Front Flip Stunner and then hit a Code Red for a two count.

The end came after Allin hit a cradle pin and out-maneuvered Sky. After the match, Sky attacked Allin unexpectedly and locked in a heel hook that appeared to do damage to Allin’s leg.

Allin is the longest-reigning TNT champion having successfully defended the belt against Sky, Brian Cage and Joey Janela. Allin won the belt from Cody Rhodes at AEW Full Gear last year on Nov. 7, 2020 and his reign has now topped 122 days.
