Notably, this marks Zayn’s long-awaited return to Saudi Arabia after an absence of several years. During the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shed light on the reasons behind Zayn’s decision to make an appearance in Saudi Arabia, considering his previous unavailability.

It is pertinent to mention that Zayn hails from Syrian ancestry. In 2017, Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic ties with Syria, which caused strain in the relationship between the two nations. This rupture was primarily triggered by Saudi Arabia’s involvement in supplying arms to the rebels during the Syrian Civil War.
