Satoshi Kojima On CM Punk – ‘It’s An Honor To Fight A World-Famous Wrestler’

CM Punk will face off against Satoshi Kojima in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup tournament this Sunday night at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II.

Taking to Twitter, Kojima acknowledged Punk’s excellence and expressed his nervousness about the marquee match. He wrote,

“I am very nervous now. Of course. Because I am not world famous. It’s an honor to fight a world-famous wrestler. It is my pleasure to represent my 32 year career.”

As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW was working on a match between Punk and KENTA for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II. Punk wasn’t too thrilled to wrestle KENTA who then turned the match down.
