Sasha Banks Keeps SmackDown Women’s Title After Shayna Baszler Accidentally Attacks Nia Jax

Sasha Banks and Nia Jax met tonight in a match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship Match, and in a close match between two of the more dominant superstars in WWE, Banks came away with a win thanks to some unintentional help.
Late in the match, after Banks landed a surprise Bank Statement on Jax, Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler – who had both made their way to ringside – got into a scuffle that distracted the referee. With the official not paying attention, Baszler attempted to try and land a knee onto Banks, but Banks was able to dodge it, and Baszler instead hit Jax with the strike instead. Belair then tossed Baszler out of the ring, and Banks pinned Jax for the win and title defense.
