Sasha Banks Helps Bayley Defeat Tamina, Retain SmackDown Women’s Title

At WWE Money In The Bank, Bayley defended the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Tamina. Sasha Banks accompanied Bayley to the ring. Before the match, Bayley refused to let Banks speak for herself in an interview. Bayley slapped Tamina and disrespected her at the beginning of the match. But Tamina overpowered the champion and suplexed her. Tamina shoved Bayley and gave her some disrespect in return. A slam sent Bayley to the outside, but Bayley targeted Tamina’s leg and smashed it against the ring post. Bayley neutralized Tamina’s vertical base, but Tamina rallied. The champion put Tamina in a knee-bar, but Tamina reached the ropes. Bayley tried to slam Tamina, but the challenger came crashing down on top of her. The champion threw some water in Tamina’s face, but Tamina rocked her with a clothesline. A stiff superkick knocked Bayley to the floor.

Tamina threw Bayley over the broadcast table. Another superkick floored Bayley and a Samoan Drop could have put Bayley away. But Sasha Banks distracted Tamina, who chased her around ringside. Bayley countered a Samoan Drop into a roll-up on the distracted Tamina for the win. Banks and Bayley attacked Tamina after the match.
