Sasha Banks Faces Asuka At WWE Extreme Rules

As part of “Championship Monday,” Sasha Banks and Bayley defended their WWE Women’s Championship against The IIconics.

The IIconics almost shocked the world early on as they were able to get a near pinfall after Banks wasn’t prepared to start the match. However, some slight interference from Bayley was all it took for the champs to gain control. Despite losing the belts to The IIconics during their initial title run, Bayley & Banks looked a step ahead of them for most of the match. The end came after Banks put Peyton Royce in the Bank Statement and forced her to tap out.

After the match, Banks told Bayley that she’s jealous of her holding both belts and wants a title match at Extreme Rules. However, it isn’t against Bayley, but Asuka. The RAW Champion then came out and accepted the challenge before getting teamed up on by Banks & Bayley.
