In a recent episode of “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Saraya, a former WWE superstar, addressed her disappointment over not having the opportunity to compete against Mercedes Mone while they were both under contract with AEW.
Saraya was enthusiastic about the potential match, however, it regrettably didn’t come to fruition. In her own words, Saraya stated, “We both wanted to, so we were just waiting for that trigger to be pulled, but I think she has other people that she has to wrestle for right now. So I don’t know when that time would be, but unfortunately, I may not be there to be able to do that with her…it should have happened a while ago, but it is what it is.”
Currently, Saraya is no longer with AEW and is a free agent in the wrestling world.
