Former WWE talent, Saraya, recently made an appearance on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast. She voiced her appreciation for having the chance to rejuvenate her wrestling career through All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

To note, Saraya ended her association with AEW in the past few weeks.

Here are some noteworthy takeaways from the podcast discussion:

When asked about the chance to progress her wrestling career with AEW: “I never contemplated the possibility of wrestling again, let alone, holding a championship at one of the world’s renowned stadiums, Wembley. The fact that it was in my own country, in the presence of my family, made it even more special. I’m incredibly grateful to Tony [Khan] for the chance.”

Regarding why she won’t alter her life: “I wouldn’t transform any aspect of my life, even the bitter experiences because they have shaped who I am today. I’m deeply thankful for the person I have become. I’ve realized how much pressure I put on myself. I don’t want people who read my book to consider me as a victim. I don’t want to invoke sympathy. I’d rather they respect how I’ve overcome the challenges.”
