Sammy Guevara hasn’t been seen since the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event where he suffered a concussion, but his good friend Fuego Del Sol says Sammy’s return to AEW is “imminent.”

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Muscle Malcom” podcast, Del Sol provided an update on Guevara. He said,

“Yeah, me and Sam, we talk every day. He’s legitimately one of my best friends and a lot of times we don’t even talk wrestling, we talk about all the other crazy stuff in the world going on. He is feeling a lot better and his return is imminent.”

He continued, “I definitely thought he was gonna be on Dynamite recently in that 8-Man Street Fight. However, he wasn’t back yet, but I know he wants to come back in a major way. So we’ll see where the tide takes him.”

Jim Ross has provided an update on his health as he remains sidelined from his duties with All Elite Wrestling in an effort to heal up.

Speaking on a recent edition of his “Grilling JR” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer and AEW commentator provided an update on his leg and ongoing treatment for skin cancer.

On his health: “[I] had a busy week at the doctors, and trying to get all these little things taken care of. They’re not little things if you let them go. Anyway, I’m getting better I think.”

On letting his leg heal up during his time off: “Then we will just move on, you know, and hopefully it’ll work out. I had a long doctor’s meeting yesterday — over two hours — so just trying to get better … Getting old is the s***s.”
