Sami Zayn Wins The Intercontinental Championship At Elimination Chamber

At WWE Elimination Chamber, Braun Strowman defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Cesaro, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura. Strowman easily overpowered Nakamura early on. The champion splashed Nakamura in the corner. Zayn distracted and Nakamura capitalized. Cesaro tagged in and took control. Zayn hit Strowman with a cheap shot and grounded him.

Strowman tried to rally but Nakamura locked in a sleeper hold. The champion persevered and threw Cesaro around the ring. Strowman trucked over Cesaro and Nakamura at ringside but they stomped on him when he tried to follow Zayn under the ring. All three men threw Strowman into the steel steps. Nakamura hit the Kinshasa for a two count. Cesaro drove Strowman shoulder-first into the ring post. Nakamura hit a Kinshasa into the ring post.

Zayn pinned Strowman after he kicked the champion while Cesaro and Nakamura suplexed him; Zayn won the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
