Sami Callihan Becomes New IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, Defeats Brian Cage
During Tuesday’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Sami Callihan came away with a huge win, as he defeated Brian Cage in a steel cage match to become the newest IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.
In a match that was every bit as chaotic as fans were likely hoping for, both superstars gave it their all, even getting bloody in the process. As both superstars went back-and-forth, it was Callihan who managed to outlast his opponent. Late in the match, he was able to get Cage onto the top turnbuckle, where he then landed a pile driver off of it. With Cage out for good, Callahan was able to claim victory, and become the latest champion in the process.
