The shift of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from FOX to the United States Network commences this week.
This swift change happened earlier than anticipated, consequent to WWE and the USA Network publicizing a five-year agreement for the rights of SmackDown, when its tenure with FOX came to an end. This transfer was initially expected to take place in October.
Nonetheless, as a result of FOX’s strategy to relocate several of SmackDown’s September episodes to FS1 owing to the college football season, the USA Network agreed to house SmackDown ahead of schedule. A host of thrilling face-offs and segments are undoubtedly on the roster for the show’s forthcoming segment.
As per latest reports from WrestleTix, WWE’s SmackDown has managed to sell 12,478 tickets, leaving 1,374 yet to be sold. Over the preceding three days, sales accounted for 201 tickets.
On a side note, during WWE’s last visit to the Climate Pledge Arena on the 10th of April for RAW, they successfully sold a total of 10,520 tickets.
