Recently, during his attendance at the For The Love of Wrestling convention hosted by Monopoly Events in Manchester, England, famed professional wrestler Sabu revealed who his two favorite wrestling partners are.
In his words, “For me, it’s Rob Van Dam and Mick Foley. Both are phenomenal wrestlers with very divergent styles, but it’s a joy to work with both.”
Furthermore, it was announced that Sabu is set to go head-to-head with Joey Janela in the approaching Spring Break 9, slated for the WrestleMania 41 weekend.
On another note, a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast featured Nic Nemeth singing praises for AEW’s recent recruit, “Speedball” Mike Bailey. He voiced his anticipation to see Bailey, a former TNA star, square off against Kenny Omega at the forthcoming AEW Dynasty 2025.
Nemeth was quoted as saying, “Watching Bailey in action is amazing… and my immediate thought was ‘I hope he wins this tournament. I want to see him take on Kenny Omega.’ The energy these two can bring to the ring is electrifying. Even if Bailey doesn’t take the win, it’s clear that this young talent with a diverse skill set has already made a name for himself. Immediately after he won, I thought, ‘I want to see him challenge Kenny as soon as possible.’ And even if he isn’t victorious, he’s established himself as a formidable new force in just a few weeks.”
