Wrestler RUSH answered MJF’s confrontational mic talk during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, leading to a fight that had to be broken up by AEW officials.
In the episode’s first segment, the previous AEW World Champion began an inflammatory monologue, which was interrupted by a challenging RUSH. The resulting brawl saw several AEW staff members stepping in to prevent further escalation.
RUSH took to his Twitter account afterwards with an assertive response:
“You may excel in microphone prowess, but I hold the title of BEST WRESTLER. I am the One causing them anguish. No one will come to your rescue during the thorough defeat you’re on the cusp of encountering. You vocal fans, keep up with your ‘what?’ chant; I’ll muzzle your jeering.”
In related news, ROH World TV Championship is set to be defended by Kyle Fletcher against challenger Lee Johnson. Even though Fletcher boasts of having bested Johnson twice in past six months, he has consented to a Best Two of Three Falls match for the title.
