Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw a huge triple threat match between Zelina Vega, Ruby Riott, and Natalya, with the winner advancing to the SmackDown Survivor Series Women’s Team. In a shocking end to the match, Riott managed to steal a win, earning herself a spot on the team.
Towards the end of the match, Riott was able to outsmart both Natalya and Vega thanks to some quick thinking. With Natalya locking Vega in the Sharpshooter late, Riott quickly jumped in front of the two, and locked in the crossface to Vega. With Vega getting submitted in two faces, she was absolutely trapped, and eventually Natalya let go of the Sharpshooter right as Vega began tapping, allowing Riott to steal the win. Now, she’ll join Bianca Belair as the second member of SmackDown’s Survivor Series team.
