Roxanne Perez Looks Back At Her WWE Royal Rumble Appearance

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez took part in this year’s females’s Royal Rumble match, and she discussed the experience just recently on Busted Open Radio.

Perez confessed to feeling anxious previous to the Rumble match, however feeling rather in the house once she went out there to complete.

In the run-up to the Royal Rumble: “The Royal Rumble, I was so worried in the days leading up to it. Maturing as a kid, the leading 2 pay televisions that I constantly wished to remain in were the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. I was like, ‘‘ I do not understand how I’m going to do it, I’m going to stroll out as the countdown ends, weeping my eyes out.'”

Seeming like she belonged: “I went out and I didn’t weep at all, which I took pride in myself. When I won the champion, it resembled, ‘‘ Wow, I can’t think this is genuine.’ When I went out at the Royal Rumble it was more of, ‘‘ Wow, I belong here. I’ve worked so hard for this. I’m here and I did it and I belong here.’Yeah, I believe it’s altered a bit from– certainly, I’m still a fan at heart and I’m constantly gon na be, however it’s altered from getting signed and resembling, ‘‘ Wow, I ca ‘n’t think it,’ to ‘ Wow, I can think it. ‘I do not deserve it, however I strove for it.”
