In tonight’s NXT Battleground 2024 pay-per-view wrestling event, Roxanne Perez is set to battle for the defense of her WWE NXT Women’s Title, facing off against TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace.
Perez made appearances on Denise Salcedo’s popular podcast, “Instinct Culture”, wherein she confessed that she was taken aback by the announcement of Grace being her opponent. Expressing her shock, Perez stated,
“I had absolutely no clue that I was slated to compete against Jordynne. In fact, I was counting down the days leading up to the match, curious to learn who I’d be battling in the ring. When I discovered it was going to be Jordynne Grace, I was genuinely amazed. It surprised me since she is associated with TNA.”
Perez didn’t minimize her excitement, further adding, “The thrill is in creating history and contributing to significant milestones in the world of wrestling. At the moment, my reaction was akin to, ‘Is this actually happening?’ However, I was prepped for it, ready to meet her in the ring and prove my worth.”
