Rosemary On Potential AEW Crossover: ‘We Would Invite Any Of Them To Come To Our Turf’

There’s been a lot of chatter lately about crossovers in professional wrestling. It seems every company outside of WWE is interested in working with one another. IMPACT Wrestling is no exception as they have been working with both AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling this year. But when will they allow their Knockouts division to get involved in the fun? Former Knockouts Champion Rosemary might be able to shine some light on that.
Ahead of her Knockouts Championship match against Deonna Purrazzo at Against All Odds, Rosemary sat down with Joey Karni of The Angle Podcast about various subjects. When the idea of a potential crossover with All Elite Wrestling came up, Rosemary had the following to say:
“We would invite any of them to come to our turf, to come to our world and chomp up the hill,” Rosemary said.
The subject of NWA’s upcoming all-women’s pay-per-view ‘Empowerrr’ was brought up, and Karni asked Rosemary if there was any chance that we could see her appearing on the show:
“Well, IMPACT did use to run all women’s PPVs back when they were still hailed as TNA,” Rosemary said. “They would do the Knockout’s Knockdown PPVs, and it’d be every year. We don’t see any reason why those couldn’t come back with the ever-expanding Knockout’s division and the lot of free agents you could bring in, which was the structure, to have free agents come in and face contracted talent and have them battle it out. That would absolutely be something we’d be willing to be a part of. The more opportunities for the Knockout’s, the merrier.”
With yet another round of WWE releases and Slammiversary fast approaching, Rosemary was also asked about which talents she would like to see join the IMPACT Knockouts division:
“All of them,” Rosemary said. “We’ve always said the door is wide open. Anyone who wants to face The Demon Assassin is all welcomed. We never turn down a challenge. The IIconics, in particular, tingles in the back of our minds with the reformed Knockout’s Tag Team Championships. Bringing in a seasoned tag team and one that’s quite clever and unexpectedly successful. So their addition to the Knockout’s division would be very intriguing indeed. You called her Chelsea Green, but she’s out Laurel Van Ness, and we do have unfinished business with her, so to have her return to the IMPACT realm would be something sweet indeed.”
