Ronda Rousey has no plans to return to WWE.

Rousey, who left WWE after losing to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023, recently appeared on the “Never Before Told” podcast to discuss her new Our Fight book.

During the podcast, the two-time WWE Women’s Champion called WWE an “absolute sh*t show.” She said,

“How much of an absolute sh*t show it is at the WWE because they can’t hold the story over my head and hold me hostage with my own career. I don’t need anything from them and I don’t intend on going back, so I can say everything that I think and feel while everybody else is still held captive by their organization.”

In other WWE news, #DIY will be competing in the six-pack WWE Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania 40 after defeating the Creed Brothers on RAW to qualify for the bout.

Taking to Instagram, Tommaso Ciampa commented on getting a match at the Showcase of Immortals. He wrote,

“9 years in WWE. 19 years as professional wrestlers. It still hasn’t really sunk in.

To the 5 year old boy who had a dream: you’re going to Wrestlemania!

To the fans: you have our eternal thanks

To the Creeds: nothing but love and respect

To my parents and siblings: thank you for your guidance and unconditional love

To my wife: thank you for believing in me during my darkest hours

To my daughter: find your passion in life and be relentless in your pursuit

To Johnny: I’m so f’n proud of us”

Ronda Rousey, the former WWE Women’s Champion, has recently stated that she has no plans to return to the WWE. In a podcast interview discussing her new book, “Our Fight,” Rousey expressed her dissatisfaction with the company, calling it an “absolute sh*t show.”

During the interview, Rousey explained that she no longer wants to be held hostage by the WWE and its storytelling. She stated, “I don’t need anything from them, and I don’t intend on going back, so I can say everything that I think and feel while everybody else is still held captive by their organization.”

Rousey’s departure from the WWE came after her loss to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. While she had a successful run in the company, winning the Women’s Championship twice, it seems that Rousey has moved on from professional wrestling.

In other WWE news, the tag team #DIY has qualified for the six-pack WWE Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania 40. They secured their spot in the bout after defeating the Creed Brothers on RAW. Tommaso Ciampa, one-half of #DIY, took to Instagram to express his excitement about the opportunity.

Ciampa, reflecting on his journey in WWE and as a professional wrestler, wrote a heartfelt message. He thanked his fans for their support, expressed love and respect for the Creed Brothers, and acknowledged his family’s guidance and unconditional love. He also gave a special shoutout to his wife for believing in him during his darkest hours and encouraged his daughter to pursue her passion relentlessly.

The WrestleMania event is considered the grandest stage in professional wrestling, and for Ciampa, it is a dream come true after nine years in WWE and 19 years as a professional wrestler. His emotional message shows the dedication and gratitude he has for his career and the opportunity to compete at such a prestigious event.

As for Ronda Rousey, her comments about the WWE may come as a surprise to some fans who were hoping for her return. However, it seems that she has moved on from the world of professional wrestling and is focused on other endeavors, such as her book and potentially other projects outside of the WWE.

While Rousey’s departure may disappoint some fans, it opens up opportunities for other wrestlers to shine in the women’s division. The WWE is known for its ever-changing roster and the ability to create new stars. As WrestleMania 40 approaches, fans can look forward to exciting matches and storylines that will shape the future of the company.
