Ronda Rousey Blames ‘Ungrateful’ Fans For Full-Time WWE Departure

Talking on the Wild Ride! with Steve-O podcast, former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey confirmed that she wouldn’t be returning to wrestling full-time. When asked why, she claimed that her WWE schedule meant that she was only home for a day and a half each week. She says that it isn’t worth the sacrifice considering the state of the so-called WWE Universe.
What am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f*cking ungrateful fans that don’t even appreciate me? I love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there … but, at the end of the day, I was just like, ‘F*ck these fans, dude.’ My family loves me and they appreciate me and I want all my energy to go into them.
She said that she loved the time she had with WWE, but that she would only return to the company on a part-time basis going forward. You can hear her full comments on the podcast embedded below:
