Ronda Rousey Announces She’s Pregnant; Baby Due In September

Ronda Rousey is having a baby!
Rousey shared the news on her YouTube channel, announcing she is now four months pregnant and the baby is due in September. Rousey said she’s been pregnant since January, so she’s about four months along. She wanted to share the news now and show off her baby bump, adding that “there’s much more” to the story that will be told later.
Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, were shown at their doctor’s appointment watching the sonogram, and the video said the couple plans on doing a gender reveal soon. The video closed with Rousey saying the ‘Baddest Baby On The Planet’ is coming to you soon and said her due date is September 22.
Since leaving WWE after WrestleMania 35, Rousey has expressed interest in trying to find a balance being starting a family and continuing to wrestle. Two weeks after her final match, she told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne that she wanted to use her planned hiatus to try and start a family, and wasn’t sure how everything would work for her career. Last year, she told Steve-O that she will go back to WWE, but wouldn’t do it full-time again.
During a recent interview with Colin Cowherd, WWE President Nick Khan spoke about both Rousey and Becky Lynch‘s respective statuses with the company and said they’d both be returning at specific points in time, with Lynch likely returning sooner than the former MMA star. While he said Lynch would be coming back “in the not too distant future”, he simply said “Ronda is going to be coming back at a certain point in time.”
