When Roman Reigns returned from hiatus to line up with Paul Heyman, the Bloodline story kicked off in late 2020. After making a chance at the WWE Universal Title, Reigns needed to protect his title versus Jey Uso, his cousin.
While doing an interview with the APNews, Reigns confessed that he did not like the concept of beating Jey into the group initially.
” When these concepts in real-time began taking place, it ended up being a domino effect, a cause and effect. It’s resembled an onion, peeling open, best and left, these amazing chances and various bunny holes to dive down with these various characters we’ve included.”
