WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Sika Anoa’i, tragically passed away aged 79, as we unveiled on eWn this past Tuesday. Sika Anoa’i was a beloved father to five children, among them Roman Reigns, and the late Rosey, whose real name is Matthew Tapunu’u Anoa’i. He unfortunately passed away on Tuesday morning peacefully.
His son, popular WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, later took to the platform of Twitter to make a touching tribute to his father. He expressed his gratitude and shared his feelings below:
“My family and I extend our sincere thanks to everyone for the flood of support we’ve received for my father, Pola’ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i. He will perpetually be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. His influence on our entire family was immense, and we will forever be indebted for the solid foundation he laid for us. While there’s no way to compensate for the void his passing leaves behind, my sisters and I will strive to uphold his reputation and heritage.
Dad, may you rest in power. We love you.”
