One year ago today, Roman Reigns returned to the wrestling ring to announce that he was in remission after fighting his battle with cancer.
To mark the occasion, Reigns took to social media to discuss the moment. On Twitter, Reigns reflected, saying that sharing his life with “millions of people” is one of the things that makes being a superstar in the WWE so amazing.
Reigns closed things out by saying that while life may have its struggles, the “power and prayers” of the WWE universe helped him find the strength needed to fight. Now, he’s back to providing the WWE universe with incredible matches and moments, and will hopefully be doing so for many years to come.
Sharing this life with millions of people is one of the things that makes being a @WWE Superstar amazing. Life has struggles and setbacks, but the power and prayers of this Universe gave me the strength to fight back.
Thank y’all for your support. We got much more to do!!! https://t.co/Bk2ryW6nDZ
