“The Big Dog” says that if you want something quick, Monday night is the place for you, but if you want high-grade storytelling, it’s all about SmackDown.
Since Roman’s return at WWE SummerSlam, he has showcased a new side of himself, aligning himself with the dastardly Paul Heyman and turning heel after 6 years as the main babyface in WWE, outside of John Cena.
Speaking in a recent Q&A session, Roman Reigns compared the creative process on Friday nights to a high-quality filet mignon as opposed to the fast-food process on Monday nights which takes a lot less to digest.
“We got a bunch of fast-food fans and they complain that they want stories and well thought out stories to develop. When you start doing that for them, they want it all now. My people, I’m cooking a steak. We’re creating an elaborate omelet and we’re in the process of cracking eggs right now. You’re not going to get it quite yet. We’re gonna let the steaks stay on the grill. If you want your cheeseburger, watch AW. SmackDown, we do filet mignon,” stated Reigns.
