Report by Colin Tessier for Wrestlezone.com

The show begins with a recap of last week’s events. Kenny King confirmed his allegiance to La Faccion Ingobernable and said he taught Shane Tayor an important. RUSH vowed to remain the ROH World Champion for a long time.

In a pre-match promo, Josh Woods says he has no problem facing Dalton Castle again. It’s another chance to beat another world champion, something Woods has accomplished several times recently. He refuses to accept the excuse that Castle’s back is still bothering him, as he says that aches and pains are a part of wrestling. “The Goods” vows to use another win over Castle to prove that he deserves a shot at ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham. Meanwhile, Castle states that he is definitively better than Woods, so he will right the wrong of his previous defeat to “The Goods.” The former champion looks at how he has been left off the rankings and wonders if ROH sees him as a valuable player anymore. Castle plainly states that he’ll leave ROH if he loses to Woods.

Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods vs. Dalton Castle

Woods blasts Castle with a running knee in the corner and drops him with a Butterfly suplex. Castle uses his second rope break to escape the Gorilla Lock again. Woods and Castle trade open-hand strikes to the face. Castle nearly rolls Woods up for the win and seemingly hurts his back. But he was faking it in order to lure Woods in, and the former champion rolls Woods up for the win.

Winner: Dalton Castle

Silas Young makes his return to ROH and confronts his tag team partner. He says the last time he saw Woods, the young prospect told him he wanted to see what he could do on his own. “The Last Real Man” states that Woods didn’t get the job done in the tournament, and he lost at ROH Final Battle, too. Young says Woods still has a lot to learn, so they need to do what they do best, and that’s being kicking a– together.

Will Josh Woods continue being Silas Young’s tag team partner? Or… Is 2G1T over? 👀#WatchROHhttps://t.co/i2jLIRJRhr pic.twitter.com/iPGQ108Dvb
