There’s a new update in the lineup for AEW WrestleDream 2024 particularly in the Zero Hour segment. Ring of Honor’s X account just broke the news that Atlantis Jr. is set to defend his ROH World Television Championship against Brian Cage as a part of the pre-show.
Brian Cage certainly isn’t a new face in Ring of Honor. He has held the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team champion title twice, however, he has not yet tasted victory in any singles championships within the promotion (nor in All Elite Wrestling, barring the unrecognised FTW Championship, which was directly awarded to him by Taz and wasn’t gained through competition).
On the other hand, the current title holder, Atlantis Jr., is in his maiden title run which spans 98 days and counting. He won this coveted title at the CMLL Super Viernes event on June 28th.
