This past weekend on ROH Wrestling, Flamita debuted a new “Demonic” side; he came to the ring with a devilish video package, and he was clad in black gear for his Survival of the Fittest qualifying match against Rey Horus. The former partners stole the show with their high-flying offense every step of the way, but “Demonic ” Flamita walked away with the victory.

On “ROH Week By Week,” “The Mecca” Brian Johnson defeated “The Metalhead Maniac” Sledge in a Survival of the Fittest first-round match. At the end of the bout, Sledge knocked Johnson out, but when “The Mecca” collapsed, he took out his opponent’s knee. Overcome with pain, Sledge couldn’t cover Johnson, and “The Equal-Opportunity Ass-Whooper” rolled him up for the win. After the match, Johnson’s former partner, PJ Black returned and congratulated “The Mecca.” But Johnson walked away from him, leaving their relationship up in the air. Black had been absent from ROH for a few months.
Next week’s show will feature another qualifying match between O’Shay Edwards and Chris Dickinson.
The show also offered a look at the updated rankings; former champions Dragon Lee and Tracy Williams lead the way in the ROH World Television Championship division, and Demonic Flamita is in third place. In the ROH Pure Championship division, Fred Yehi is in first place, and he is followed by Josh Woods and Rhett Titus.
Plus, Young and Woods got into a heated confrontatiion backstage. Woods tried to put their conflict behind them, but Young kicked him below the belt and made it clear that he doesn’t think Woods is his equal. “The Last Real Man” then challenged Woods to a Last Man Standing Match at ROH Best In The World.
