Rod McMahon, Brother Of WWE’s Vince McMahon, Dies At Age 77
Rod is survived by his wife Jamice and their two sons.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s older brother Roderick McMahon III has passed away at 77.
No cause of death is known for McMahon, who is a Long Island, New York, native. Unlike his brother and father, Rod was never involved in the wrestling business. Instead, he joined the United States Air Force, where he met his wife Jamice. They had two sons and ran a steel distributor in Houston, per Dave Meltzer.
Former WWE writer and MLW founder Court Bauer once revealed that Rod McMahon was set to become a WWE character during the ill-fated Vince McMahon death angle in 2007. He was also friends with Ryback, as noted on his podcast.
