In a brief backstage clip meant to boost visibility for the latter half of the AEW Grand Slam taking place at AEW Collision, The Conglomeration had a chat with Renee Paquette about their imminent trios clash against The Learning Tree.
The group was initially referred to as “The Conglomeration with Rocky Romero”, a moniker that was promptly refined by Orange Cassidy. He interjected, “There’s no more ‘and’. We’d like to officially invite Rocky Romero to conglomerate with The Conglomeration.”
Marking the change, Cassidy gave Romero a brand-new Conglomeration t-shirt – an addition to the AEW merch store – implying Romero’s permanent part in the group going forward.
Take a look at the clip below, which also has Mark Briscoe giving a shout-out to his sibling, Jay Briscoe. The Briscoe brothers performed their last tag team encounter just a stone’s throw away from Arthur Ashe Stadium.
