In a recent episode of the “Muscle Memory” podcast, Robert Stone, a renowned name in pro wrestling, addressed the forthcoming WWE Evolve series, set to premiere today. Here are some noteworthy excerpts from his podcast appearance:
Discussing the WWE Evolve show, Stone said, “At present, the content that has been pre-recorded and is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks doesn’t feature any championships. Over time, it’s natural for wrestlers to compete for a title or honour. I believe that some sort of championship or titles will become a part of the show, but it’s not reached that stage yet. It does not need to be hastened.”
Stone then shared his thoughts on how titles might be involved, stating, “As of now, the spotlight is on introducing the talents, defining the characters, and helping the audience familiarize themselves with the product and the show’s concept. However, there will come a point where something tangible needs to be wrestled for, and I believe titles will indeed be included. I’m also excited to see if the WWE ID Titles will also come into play on the EVOLVE show. It’s thrilling to know that those will be defended and circulated across a variety of exhibitions.”
