In an episode of the “Dynasty Vipers Viper Cast”, wrestling superstar Eric Young praised his former Team Canada colleague, Robert Roode, holding him in high regard as one of wrestling’s best-ever athletes.
Sharing his personal perspective, Young said, “In my viewpoint, [Robert Roode could very well be] the finest professional wrestler. When considering all the critical attributes pro wrestling demands – Appearance, interactions that are relatable, athleticism, and believability – he has all these in abundance. He fulfills all the necessary benchmarks. If there was a scenario where I was compelled to participate in a wrestling match daily for life, something I sincerely hope doesn’t transpire, he’d be my initial choice as an opponent.”
Further adding his thoughts, Young said, “He is one of most accomplished professional wrestlers in history. His talents haven’t been fully recognized or rewarded, but those who have shared the ring with him or have observed his skills closely would echo my sentiment. He’s among the best the sport has ever seen.”
