Robert Anthony impressed many fans during a competitive match with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on AEW Dark last week. After this remarkable performance, Anthony took to Twitter to demand a match with Moxley’s newest challenger, Brian Cage. Cage viciously attacked Moxley on AEW Dynamite and Anthony sought some revenge for his friend. Khan booked the match for next week’s episode of AEW Dark.

You want it? You got it. Next week on Dark. Good luck, man.

Anthony, Cage and his manager, Taz, all responded to the news. Taz said he respects Anthony’s courageous character, but he warned the veteran that Cage will destroy him. Anthony wasn’t deterred; he directly called out Cage and vowed to go to war with him.

I’m literally doing what no one has the balls to do in @AEWrestling. I’m calling out @MrGMSI_BCage. When you go to war you have to dig two graves. One for you, and one for the guy you are going to battle. Iv dug many graves and I’m still here. Your move Brutha. #EgovsCage https://t.co/lxd61Sqka5

Cage also weighed in and promised to decisively defeat Anthony.

I can appreciate you trying to make a name for yourself, but this ain't it. Your 15 minutes of fame already happened vs Mox. It's not gonna take that long for me. As a matter of fact, It won't take any time at all. Not sure you want to go down that path, the path of cage.

Anthony and Cage exchanged another round of Tweets and tensions between the two competitors escalated again.

That was 14 years ago when I started this journey. I've improved in everyway possible. A went from the unsigned talent, to an international star, main eventing the biggest episode of dynamite for the world title. And now you are the unsigned talent….let's go bub.
