On a recent episode of his podcast “1 Of A Kind”, wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam delved into the topic of Paul Heyman’s competence as a booker. Discussions highlighted below highlighted his experiences with different promotions and his take on Paul Heyman.
Answering the question, “Is Paul Heyman the greatest booker ever?”, Rob Van Dam responded, “Maybe [yes] that I’ve worked with. He’s certainly my favorite among everyone I’ve worked with.”
When it came to his tenure at the three major wrestling promotions, he shared, “People often ask me to draw a comparison between the three major companies I have been a part of. ECW, in my opinion, provided the most fun. TNA, on the other hand, demanded the least work for the money – a good deal indeed. However, WWE offered the most financially and significantly expanded my exposure to the world.”
